Fitting guide

We stand behind everything we make, including our wetsuits. But wetsuits require care if they are going to perform and wear the way they were intended. Giant Fish is not responsible for wetsuits that are abused or show normal wear and tear over time. Scratches and fading are inevitable, as are tears from the occasional close call with a rudder.

Gear review

As a lifelong whitewater kayaker perpetually clad in a Gore-Tex drysuit, I have always had an aversion to neoprene. But in the last year that I have been wearing Scott’s prototype neoprene shorts and pants, I’ve become a total convert. The Giant Fish gear is warm, super comfortable in the seated position, and stylish. The Yamamoto neoprene is buttery smooth and I have had ZERO chaffing incidents at the waist which has been a problem with other gear. Another feature of both the shorts and pants are the smooth skin seals that prevent the dreaded splash back. Very desirable for our cold weather paddling. They also a sweet pocket with a lash tab for a key or to hold a phone.

In my opinion, there are no other products on the market that compare in quality, comfort, and performance, and I have worn almost all of them. I am loving this stuff for year-round PNW paddling and honestly can’t wait for what’s next. Most definitely recommended!

Top notch

Got the chance to try out some of the early samples and have been, frankly, wearing nothing else since. Super comfy, no chafing, fits like a glove, and each piece (shorts, 1.5, 3m) is perfect for what you want it for.

Every now and again I make a mistake and try some of what I was using before... not wise. All this kit is great.

Biggest problem is pulling on the wet gear from yesterday's paddle since I don't give them a chance to dry out (did I mention 50+ paddles and the kit still looks great?).

Amazingly comfortable

Really enjoying the new shorts! You did a tremendous job with the design - 50km in and no chafing. Keeping just the right level of warm in a Seattle 'summer'. I plan to log back on and buy the long pants in the fall when things here in Seattle cool down.
