Fitting guide

We stand behind everything we make, including our wetsuits. But wetsuits require care if they are going to perform and wear the way they were intended. Giant Fish is not responsible for wetsuits that are abused or show normal wear and tear over time. Scratches and fading are inevitable, as are tears from the occasional close call with a rudder.

Warmth without bulkyness

I love this top! Too often, these types of tops are bulky and oversized. This Wind Shirt is flexible and sleek, and super comfortable.

My first silicone wind shirt.

Had never tried a silicone shirt before this wind shirt arrived. I was a bit skeptical; fear of difficulty of taking on and off, and would it be hot on sunny days? First, it was easy on and off. The fabric is lined with a thin layer like a soft felt. The silicone outer layer is quite stretchy and makes donning quite easy. Next was the sun test. Wore on a hot sunny day about mid-morning. I expected it to be overwhelming in the heat, but it was quite the opposite. The material adjusts to the environment. When I was splashed, I could feel the chillier water as it made contact to the shirt. I never overheated or became chilled. It was windy that day and the shirt did what it was supposed to do - it blocked the wind. I would consider this shirt a three-season top because it can be easily combined with a light layer for added warmth. It also protects your body from the sun without being too warm. I am looking forward to testing it this upcoming winter combined with outer layers to maintain warmth while keeping me dry on the inside. Overall impression, I'd buy it again.
